The Holmes County 4-H Shooting Club met on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Eastern Holmes Sportsman Club for its fourth meeting.

Vice President Brant Burgett conducted the meeting. The U.S. flag pledge was led by Jimmy Britt, and the 4-H flag pledge was led by Cheyanne Mackey.

Discussions were held concerning meeting dates; judging dates; project books; community service; fair booth; fundraiser shoot; Tractor Supply Bake Sale and Hot Dog Day on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 11-2 and fair booth set-up and firearm safety. 

The reports of the secretary and treasurer were given.

Safety officers Jimmy Britt and Garrett Miller did a demonstration on sun care and SPF creams.

Refreshments were furnished by the Britt family and Mackey family.

The club members enjoyed a day of shotgun, handgun, and archery disciplines.
