Babysitting app wins local InnovateHER Challenge and will now compete on a national level.

The creators of the JUGGLE app recently won the Columbus InnovateHER Challenge, a competition sponsored by the US Small Business Administration with local host Economic Community Development Institute. The goal of InnovateHER is to find and showcase products and services that empower women and families.

JUGGLE will move on to a semifinal round with competitors from all over the US. Up to 10 finalists will be selected from this pool to go to Washington DC later this year, where three winners will be chosen to receive awards and $70,000 in prizes.

As featured in Tech Talk, JUGGLE was founded by Emily Music, Annie Kentris Arthur, Amber Lear Nolan and Ashlee Lear Giannetti—all moms—and connects users to sitters for both pets and children, and a party planning network.
