The mobile app startup also posts record sales.

A partner in Dayton-based Buckeye Vodka has invested in Refill, the Columbus startup company that delivers beer, wine, liquor and snacks to customers through a mobile app.

Chief Marketing Officer Anthony Reynolds says Buckeye partner Seth Warren is investing $100,000 in Refill as it prepares to add live order-tracking and in-app rebates to its service.

Through the app and the website, alcoholtogo.com, Refill connects liquor brands and sellers such as stadiums, supermarkets and liquor stores to customers. Refill began as Alcohol Deliveries LLC and changed its name in November.

Reynolds says the company already has posted its strongest sales month to date in December, and he says the $6,000 total likely will reach $9,000 when New Year's Eve is added in.
